Description
Holly Steiner, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. She earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. Dr. Steiner completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at TriHealth, Good Samaritan Hospital, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Steiner provides OB/GYN care for patients ages 13 and above, including treatment for abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and uterine polyps. Dr. Steiner offers comprehensive obstetric care, including management of twin gestations and vaginal birth after cesarean section. She sees patients for contraception counseling, sexually transmitted disease screening, preventative health care, and well-woman exams. Dr. Steiner has a special clinical interest and expertise in vulvovaginal disorders and managing these chronic problems including lichen sclerosus and lichen planus. Before joining BJC Medical Group, Dr. Steiner was an associate professor in obstetrics and gynecology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis for nine years. Dr. Steiner loves being an OB/GYN physician because of the variety and types of patients she can see daily. By caring for patients at various stages of their lives, she has developed wonderful bonds with her patients and is honored to share significant moments in their lives. Her goal as a physician is to listen to her patients and care for them as if they are her family members. Dr. Steiner grew up in Belleville, Illinois, and is proud to be able to provide care to patients in her hometown, close to her extended family. She is married with three children, including twin boys. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and their two dogs, complete home improvement projects, visit the Fabulous Fox Theater, cook, and exercise.
